Bosch compact laundry is everywhere in LA apartments and condos, usually stacked in a closet. The compact format changes the access rather than the diagnosis, and the condenser dryers in particular behave differently from a conventional vented machine.
Long dry times are the complaint we hear most in Los Angeles, and the one most often misdiagnosed. A dryer that needs two cycles is rarely broken the way people assume — more often the airflow path is restricted, so the machine heats correctly but cannot carry moisture out of the drum.

Water has collected in the base tray and triggered the float switch, which shuts the machine down to protect it. Draining the tray clears the code, but it comes back unless the leak that filled it is found. That is the part of the job that actually matters, and it is where we start.
On an electric dryer it is most often a failed heating element or a blown thermal fuse; on a gas dryer it is usually the igniter or the gas valve coils. What matters is why. A thermal fuse blows because the dryer overheated, and it will blow again unless the restricted airflow behind it is dealt with too.

Almost always restricted airflow. Lint accumulates through the vent run, at the wall termination and inside the machine, and once the moist air cannot escape the clothes stay damp no matter how well the dryer heats. The same restriction makes the dryer run hotter than it was designed to, which is worth fixing promptly.
