Terms of Service
These terms apply to this website and to the repair work ApexPro Appliance Repair carries out for you.
Last updated
By using this site, requesting a quote, or booking a repair with ApexPro Appliance Repair, you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or book a visit.
Who we are
ApexPro Appliance Repair is an independent mobile appliance repair company based in Los Angeles, California, serving Los Angeles County since 2020. We are an independent service provider and are not an authorized or factory service center for any manufacturer. Brand names used on this site identify the appliances we repair; they do not imply affiliation with, or endorsement by, those manufacturers.
The website
The content here — descriptions of services, symptom explanations, and articles — is general information about appliance repair. It is not a diagnosis of your appliance and not a promise of any particular outcome. An appliance can only be diagnosed by a technician who has seen it. Do not rely on anything on this site to carry out your own repair on gas, electrical or refrigerant systems.
We try to keep the site accurate, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available. The text, images, layout and logo on this site belong to us and may not be copied or republished without permission.
Requests and quotes
Submitting a form or calling us is a request for service, not a confirmed booking. A booking exists once we have agreed a date and an arrival window with you. We may decline work — for example if the appliance is outside what we service, if a part is no longer manufactured, or if the job cannot be done safely.
Diagnostic fees and pricing
A technician has to determine what is actually wrong before a repair can be priced. Our diagnostic fees are:
- $50 — standard in-home diagnostic, residential appliances
- $125 — walk-in coolers, which take longer and usually require roof access
- $85 — commercial refrigeration
Remote diagnosis is free. If you send photographs and the model number and we can identify the fault from those, there is no charge for the estimate.
The repair itself is quoted separately, after diagnosis, and no repair work begins until you have approved that price. A quote covers the fault described in it. If the technician finds a further fault once the appliance is opened up, we will stop, explain it, and give you a revised price before continuing. Quotes are valid for a limited period and may change if part prices change or if the appliance has been worked on by someone else in the meantime.
Appointments and access
Arrival windows are estimates. Traffic across Los Angeles, and jobs that turn out to be more involved than described, can move a window; we will tell you as soon as we know. Please let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule, and note that a fee may apply if a technician arrives and cannot get access to the appliance.
You agree to provide, at the appointment:
- An adult aged 18 or over present for the duration of the visit
- Safe, clear access to the appliance and to the power, water or gas supply serving it
- Restraint of any pets
- Notice of anything hazardous on the premises
Built-in and heavy appliances sometimes have to be pulled out to be reached. We take care doing it, but moving an appliance across flooring, or disturbing an installation that was done badly or was already deteriorating, carries some risk. Tell the technician beforehand if there is a concern about the floor, the cabinetry or the connections.
Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. The diagnostic fee is payable even if you decide not to proceed with the repair, and even if the conclusion is that the appliance is not economical to repair — the technician’s time and the diagnosis are what you are paying for. Special-order and non-returnable parts may require payment upfront.
Parts and workmanship
Any warranty on parts and labour is stated on your invoice, and the terms on that invoice are what apply to your job. A warranty covers the specific part replaced and the work performed. It does not cover an unrelated fault that appears later, damage from misuse, power surges, pest damage, lack of maintenance, or work carried out on the appliance by anyone else after our visit. Manufacturer part warranties, where they exist, are provided by the manufacturer and passed through to you.
Older appliances carry an unavoidable risk: a component adjacent to the one being replaced may fail during or shortly after the repair simply because of age. We will tell you when we think an appliance is at that stage, and when we believe replacing it is the better use of your money.
Limitation of liability
We carry out repairs with reasonable skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our total liability arising out of any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including spoiled food, lost business, or loss of use of the appliance. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, for the underlying condition of an appliance we were not asked to work on, or for faults arising from an installation carried out by someone else.
If something goes wrong
Tell us. Call (323) 740-2901 or email apexproappliance@gmail.com and give us the chance to put it right before taking any other step. Most complaints are resolved with a return visit.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The version in force is the one published here on the date you book, and the date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
