KitchenAid Oven Repair in Los Angeles
Wall ovens and range ovens across Los Angeles that will not reach temperature, run well off setpoint, or throw a code before they preheat.
KitchenAid specialists · Gas and ignition work · We come to you
KitchenAid wall ovens are fitted into cabinetry, so the access is closer to a built-in job than a freestanding one. Bake elements and temperature sensors are the usual causes of an oven that will not reach setpoint.
Ovens rarely fail all at once. Across Los Angeles what we see far more often is temperature drifting, one element no longer carrying its share, or a fault code that appears at preheat and clears when the unit cools. Those are the symptoms worth acting on, because a control board being asked to compensate tends to fail next.
KitchenAid Oven Faults We See Most Often
- The door will not close square, or heat escapes around the seal
- The broil element works but the bake element does not, or the reverse
- The oven will not heat at all, though the display lights up
- Food cooks unevenly, or takes far longer than the recipe says
- Built-in installation combined with mainstream platform parts
- Wall ovens fitted into cabinetry with limited service clearance
Why ApexPro
What a KitchenAid Call Involves
Calibration, Not Guesswork
We measure actual cavity temperature against the setpoint before deciding whether the sensor, the element or the board is at fault.
Built-In Wall Ovens
Single and double wall ovens pulled and reseated carefully, with the cabinet opening protected throughout.
Gas and Electric
Bake and broil elements, igniters, safety valves and temperature sensors tested individually rather than swapped in hope.
Good Parts Availability
Shared platforms with the wider Whirlpool family mean components are easy to source and often already on board.
How it works
A Repair Without the Guesswork
- Step 1
Tell Us the Symptom and Any Code
Fault codes are brand-specific and often identify the circuit before we arrive. Read it out when you call.
- Step 2
We Come to You
A technician arrives with temperature sensors, igniters and common elements already on the truck.
- Step 3
Diagnosis and Upfront Price
We test the element circuits, the sensor resistance and the control, then explain the fault and the repair cost.
- Step 4
Repair and a Real Preheat Test
We do not leave on a hopeful reading. The oven is run up to temperature and checked against the setpoint first.

Questions
Answers Before You Pick Up the Phone
They share a good deal of engineering and many parts, which helps with availability and cost. Where they differ is installation: KitchenAid built-in refrigeration and wall ovens are fitted into cabinetry, so the access and handling are closer to a built-in job.
Usually yes, and usually inexpensively. A drifting oven is most often a temperature sensor that has gone out of range, and on many models it can also be corrected with a calibration offset. We measure the real cavity temperature first so we are correcting an actual error rather than a guess.
No. ApexPro is an independent appliance repair company and is not manufacturer-authorized by KitchenAid or any other brand. We service KitchenAid equipment regularly and we would rather answer that directly. If your appliance is still inside a manufacturer warranty period, the authorized route may serve you better.
Sometimes it is not, and we will say so. Control boards are among the most expensive parts in an oven, so on an older unit the sensible answer can be replacement rather than repair. Once we have the diagnosis you get the number and decide with real information.
