Usually yes. These machines are built for duty and parts are widely available, which keeps repair costs reasonable relative to what you get back. The exception is an expensive electronic control on a unit that is worn elsewhere, and we will say so plainly if that is where you are.
Continuous clicking means the spark module is firing but ignition is not being confirmed. The usual causes are a burner cap sitting slightly out of position, moisture or spillover around the electrode, a cracked electrode, or a failed spark module. The first two are quick fixes and we always check them before quoting a part.
No. ApexPro is an independent appliance repair company and is not manufacturer-authorized by Maytag or any other brand. We service Maytag equipment regularly and we would rather answer that directly. If your appliance is still inside a manufacturer warranty period, the authorized route may serve you better.
A persistently yellow, lazy flame means the burner is not getting the air it needs and is not burning cleanly, so it is worth attending to rather than living with. It is often a blocked burner port or a cap out of alignment. If you can smell gas as well, shut off the supply and call us straight away.
