Often yes, because these are heavy, serviceable machines and a built-in is joined to the cabinetry, so replacing it usually means cabinetry work as well as an appliance. What we will not do is take on a repair we think is throwing good money after bad, and we say so once we have diagnosed it.
Usually yes, and usually inexpensively. A drifting oven is most often a temperature sensor that has gone out of range, and on many models it can also be corrected with a calibration offset. We measure the real cavity temperature first so we are correcting an actual error rather than a guess.
No. ApexPro is an independent appliance repair company and is not manufacturer-authorized by Viking or any other brand. We service Viking equipment regularly and we would rather answer that directly. If your appliance is still inside a manufacturer warranty period, the authorized route may serve you better.
Sometimes it is not, and we will say so. Control boards are among the most expensive parts in an oven, so on an older unit the sensible answer can be replacement rather than repair. Once we have the diagnosis you get the number and decide with real information.
